TIDAL FLOW TRAVEL
Boutique Travel Agency
Creating small group trips to bucket list destinations
OUR STORY
Tidal Flow Travel
We believe the best adventures are the ones shared with people who are on the same page as you.
Travelling to remote places isn’t always easy. Many of the destinations we love require boats hence a small group of people keen to explore a place the same way as you.
Even if you’re happy travelling solo, you often end up in a group — and it’s not always with people who share your interests. With busy lives, different stages, and limited time off, finding the right travel partners can be surprisingly tricky.
Tidal Flow Travel was created to bring together these like minded travellers so you can explore these hard to reach places the right way.
We take care of all the planning and logistics so you don’t miss anything and can enjoy the adventure without the stress .
You show up, we handle the rest!
MEET HANNAH PIKE
How it all began
Hi, I’m Hannah, founder of Tidal Flow Travel.
For the past 15 years, I’ve lived and worked in some pretty special and remote holiday destinations worldwide. Much of that time was spent in high end tourism aboard superyachts and private sailing yachts helping clients experience some of the more untouched destinations the right way.
With a background in education (I spent four years as a high school PE and Science teacher) and formal studies in Marine Biology, I’ve always been passionate about blending eco-tourism, education, and adventure based experiences. Long before Tidal Flow Travel existed, I dreamed of bringing like minded people together to explore hard to reach places alongside experts and locals who truly know and love these environments.
I first travelled to the Galápagos at age 20 while on exchange studying Marine Biology, and since then have returned nearly every year for months at a time to work on various projects. These days I return to organise and cofacilitate Tidal Flow Travel’s expeditions with local agency Isla Expedition and our other collaborators.
Drawing on my luxury yachting background and deep understanding of what it takes to run a smooth, comfortable, and well organised trip in a remote location, the focus is simple:
to create fun, well-run adventures with the right people.

Michelle
FOUNDER OF BOCAS DEL TORO SURFING & Head SuRF COACH
Michelle grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida, where she discovered her love for surfing as a teenager. For the past 10 years she has lived in Central America, calling Bocas del Toro, Panama home. Through her business, Bocas del Toro Surfing, she runs year-round surf retreats that showcase the magic of the islands. She loves the simplicity of island life—finding waves by boat instead of car, sharing these special locations with guests through the eyes of a local.
After a life-changing trip to the Galápagos, Michelle partnered with friends Hannah and Carolina to create Galápagos Surf & Nature Connection Retreats on San Cristóbal Island. Their first retreat sold out within days, and since 2023 they’ve been hosting two Surf/Nature Connection Retreats each year, welcoming surfers from around the world into their island community.

Carolina
Founder of Isla Expedition and Lead Naturalist Guide
Carolina is our expert Naturalist Guide and owner of the local agency we partner with in Galápagos, overseeing our operations locally.
Her connection to the islands goes back generations. Her grandmother moved to Floreana— one of the least populated islands — in the 1960s when her grandfather was stationed there with the navy. From a young age Caro knew she wanted to be a guide and share her knowledge of the islands with those who came to visit, so in 2012 she completed her Divemaster training and then undertook the demanding Galápagos National Park Guide course.
Since then, Carolina has worked across the tourism industry, guiding on well-known expedition yachts and leading island-hopping adventures throughout the archipelago.
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Environmental Management (University of San Francisco de Quito)
- Certified Galápagos National Park Guide
- PADI Divemaster and Galápagos Dive Guide
- 10+ Years working in the tourism industry in Galápagos Islands
Diego
CO FOUNDER OF ISLA EXPEDITION AND NATURALIST GUIDE

With more than ten years of guiding experience in the Galápagos and five years working on private sailing vessels around the world, he has spent many years at sea.
He will often be around and join us for lunch, sharing a drink in the evening, or guiding your group for a day or two. In his spare time, Diego is usually spending time with their daughter isla, in the water surfing—or tinkering with their 38 ft sailing vessel as he prepares her for a future Pacific crossing.
